LOL I heard the same. Great artwork, more organised but the rules blow and 80% of it is recycled. I just wanted to know if it was actually so and if there were any specifics that worked or didnt?

I think the hit points issue has been sort of discussed through, unless anyone has any other thoughts on how it might be done, or how it should never have been done?

How specific would you like locations to be? Example, you aim to hit the head... would you like to be able to roll to hit them in the eye, nose etc?

That sort of accuracy would only be available to the highest level swordsman and ONLY if up against a rank amateur, anyone with a bit of skill would negate that accuracy I would feel. It would also depend on the weapon used. A viking longsword would not be able to be weilded as accurately as say a foil.
So what I'm saying is that if a player could specify that level of accuracy, it should be only a rare skill with a very high chance of failure affected by the weapon used.

Based on that answer I as always have another question What if that 'accuracy' wasn't about aiming for something that specific... Say if you wanted to aim for the eyes, yes, that would be dependent on the kind of weapon that they were using and possibly how well they can use the weapon..... what if it is about working out how to roleplay the damage you have taken? Example, your character has been hit hard in the leg... you want to know how this is going to affect your ability to remain standing until the end of the round/fight? So, you ask the opposition or st to roll for the specific location. Make sense?
